ประกาศปรับเปลี่ยนกฎการเดินทางเข้าสหรัฐอเมริกา

สถานเอกอัครราชทูต ณ กรุงวอชิงตัน ขอแจ้งให้ทราบว่า ทางการสหรัฐฯ ได้ประกาศปรับเปลี่ยนกฎการเดินทางเข้าสหรัฐฯ มีผลตั้งแต่วันที่ 8 พฤศจิกายน 2564 โดยมีรายละเอียด ดังต่อไปนี้

1. ผู้เดินทางเข้าประเทศสหรัฐฯ ทางอากาศ ที่มิได้มีสัญชาติสหรัฐฯ หรือผู้ที่ไม่ได้มีถิ่นที่อยู่ในสหรัฐฯ อย่างถูกต้องตามกฎหมาย (อาทิ ผู้ถือ Green Card) จะต้องฉีดวัคซีนและแสดงหลักฐานการฉีดวัคซีนครบถ้วน ก่อนการเดินทาง โดยวัคซีนที่ได้รับการรับรอง ได้แก่ วัคซีนที่ผ่านการรับรองและอนุมัติจากองค์การอาหารและยาสหรัฐฯ (Food and Drug Administration – FDA) และอยู่ในบัญชีรายชื่อวัคซีนแบบฉุกเฉินขององค์กรอนามัยโลก (World Health Organization – WHO) ยกเว้นเด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 18 ปี และผู้เดินทางจากประเทศที่มีอัตราการฉีดวัคซีนภายในประเทศต่ำกว่าร้อยละ 10 เนื่องจากยังไม่สามารถเข้าถึงการฉีดวัคซีนได้

2. ผู้เดินทางเข้าสหรัฐฯ ทางอากาศที่ได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนครบถ้วน (ทุกสัญชาติ) ยังคงต้องแสดงผลตรวจโควิดที่เป็นลบที่ได้รับการตรวจไม่เกิน 3 วันก่อนวันเดินทาง สำหรับผู้เดินทางที่ยังไม่ได้รับการฉีดวัคซีนหรือได้รับวัคซีนไม่ครบถ้วน (รวมถึงผู้มีสัญชาติสหรัฐฯ และผู้มีถิ่นที่อยู่ตามกฎหมาย) ต้องมีผลตรวจโควิดที่เป็นลบที่ได้รับการตรวจไม่เกิน 1 วันก่อนวันเดินทาง ยกเว้น เด็กอายุต่ำกว่า 2 ปี และผู้ที่มีหลักฐานว่าเคยติดเชื้อโควิดและหายแล้วภายในระยะเวลา 90 วันก่อนวันเดินทาง

3. ผู้เดินทางเข้าสหรัฐฯ ทางอากาศจะต้องให้ข้อมูลพื้นฐานและรายละเอียดผู้ติดต่อที่สามารถติดต่อได้ แก่สายการบินก่อนขึ้นเครื่อง

New regulations on Entering to the United States for air travelers

According to the latest announcement from the U.S. government, all air travelers are subjected to the following regulations from November 8, 2021 onwards:

1. Air travelers to the US who are non-citizens and who are not immigrants will be required to be fully vaccinated and to provide proof of their vaccination status prior to flying.

Accepted vaccines include the FDA approved or authorized and WHO Emergency Use Listed vaccines.

Exemptions include children under 18 and those countries with less than a 10% total vaccination rate due to lack of vaccine availability.

2. Fully vaccinated air passengers entering the US internationally, regardless of citizenship, will continue to be required to show a negative COVID test taken within 3 days prior to boarding.

For unvaccinated air passengers, including unvaccinated U.S. citizens and lawful permanent residents, the rules will now require a test within 1 day of departure to the US.

Exemptions include children under 2 years old. There are also accommodations for people who have a documented recovery from COVID-19 in the past 90 days with respect to the testing requirement.

3. Air passengers to the US will be required to provide basic, valid contact information to airlines before boarding flights.
